Veronika Nicolaeva
"Theatre of the Absurd"

An architect by training. Works in graphic design, easel graphics, book and journal illustration, video art, scenography, and performance.

 

Veronika Nicolaeva began her exhibition activity with a personal exhibition of graphics and continued as a member of the "Yellow Mountain" art group. She took part in some collective exhibitions in St. Petersburg and Moscow, including as a member of the section of abstract artists of the Union of Russian Artists. She authorizes projects - performances with dancing collectives, and club shows. Participant of international Biennials of graphic design and illustration competitions. Belongs on the TOP-100 list of the best designers of Russia in 2009.

Her pictures are in private collections in Russia, Sweden, Germany, and Great Britain.

She has her works published in international art catalogs and magazines of modern art in Russia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, and the USA.
