I’m a self-taught artist working in oils. My work is an emotive response to nature. After many years living and exhibiting in the U.S., I recently returned to my native Norfolk. I work from a studio in Norwich and exhibit my original paintings and limited edition prints at many galleries across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Walter Enrique Hernández was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He is a self-tough artist who had the opportunity to receive tutoring and mentoring from amazing artists.
His inspiration to create comes from love, joy, and music, elements that influence each brushstroke. His colour palette is based mainly on primary colours, with blue especially standing out.
Walter Hernández has taken his Art beyond the borders of Honduras into countries like Guatemala, Mexico, the United States, Spain, and
currently, England, demonstrating that Art is able to transcend geographical and cultural barriers.
Susan Colbourne
Drawing and painting have been a passion of mine since childhood. I find colour, light and form exciting and use them to capture mood and atmosphere. My subjects are often inspired by nature, but also scenes and people that I encounter on my travels or in Essex where I live.
